Loads of info and worth jotting down notes. http://www.twitter.com/astralaudio or you have my email. ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Yes, I'd love to run audio promos for books! I think it's a great way to further expand the podcast and online writing community. Some people make the mistake of thinking that a printed book is just a printed book, when it can be so much more — let's not make the same mistake on the other end of the spectrum. (@mrsmica)

I don't know about being wonderful, but thanks! I'm looking forward to hearing the panels! They all sound great! And I love contests! They are a great way to get listeners/readers involved. (@TerryMixon)

Hello, Kimi. It is great to hear your voice on the cast again after a hiatus. Eight takes? My voice begins to lose it after a few minutes of reading. *sigh* I seriously need to do some vocal exercise to help things along a bit. Anyway, you can find me on twitter as @keikomushi and on facebook under the same alias. I think you've added me already on both services.

Argh! The website keeps eating my comments! Kimi, it's great to hear you're getting back on track, and I'm looking forward to seeing Guardians back underway. The interviews you've had have been incredibly educational, especially Paulette's interview dealing with audio editing. Keep up the great work.

  6. I finally got a chance to listen to Caged, and I really enjoyed it. Sexy and playful, and there was real tension in the lab scenes. There were lots of surprises, really; I don’t think I anticipated any of its twists. I liked your strong female character very much, and I enjoyed your reader, too–she had just the right amount of sly edge to be both a spy and a cat without overdoing it. My only nitpicks (and they’re small ones): I was surprised that she didn’t look in the mirror in the bathroom (not because I wanted that cliched first-person see-and-describe-yourself-in-a-mirror scene, but because I’d relate to wanting to see how I looked after that ordeal, and she’s about to try to escape unnoticed), and I’d have preferred that her illness had been de-emphasized more before feelings of desire took over (that would make it more relateable for me, too.) Small things in an otherwise very enjoyable story, though. Great work! (I’m Caro_Lane on Twitter–we talked today or yesterday.)

  7. Well, in your podcast you said to say, "Dying to win the book and schwag," so consider it said. Irr Typed. ๐Ÿ™‚ As for the things your brought up on the show. Book promo's are a great idea as it can possibly turn new fans onto an author. I know this is the main reason podcasts share their promo's between each other. Now, if the promo being played is just for a print work, the podcaster may say "What's in it for me." I think that it would be great if the Author would post the links to podcasts that play their promo somewhere on their author website. Just a thought for those who do the I give, I should get types out there. (Thankfully not many of those.)

The panels are something I always look forward from hearing from cons as there are few, if any, I'm able to get to. So thank you in advance for posting those. Another thing, I want to say thank you for keeping your fans up to date on what's happening. It's so nice to be able to find out what could be holding up a book, or other work we maybe waiting for. As for contacting me, you can reach me at bepop_spike72 at yahoo dot com and I am also on facebook under http://www.facebook.com/Knightmist and I am on your friend list.
