two days ago I was looking for a book to read and glanced over at my overflowing monitor box of books supplied very nicely by my mother. I picked up one, which I’m sure I’ll go back to, but it didn’t grab me so I grabbed another. This one got a choke hold on me. I spent all my extra time over the last two days reading this book. In a genre where the typical species type is vampire, werewolf, and ghost it was so awesome to find this book and it’s a SERIES too!!

I know…You want to know what the hell the name of the book is already. It’s called Kiss of Fire by Deborah Cooke. And it’s so special because it’s about dragon shapeshifters. She had a huge opportunity to do this poorly and she didn’t. She wrote about these guys so well you can not only imagine what they look like but you can see them fighting! I also loved the heroine because while she was logical and a bit skeptical there’s not a lot of hysterics or days full of denying what she’s seen. She also managed to say all those things we say out loud to the hero (even though none of them can hear us). It was nice to finally be with a heroine who was on the same page as I was. She made a realization, I made it with her, and she told him! It was also nice to meet a heroine who ENJOYS being looked after. She managed to be strong AND happy about having someone pamper her. So thank you Deborah!

As a treat for you, I contacted her and she’ll be coming on Tale Chasing soon for an interview! Now…everyone go by this book!!
